My final gif was most definitely the most challenging and time consuming. However it was one of my first ideas for the portrait gif, but the last idea attempted. The making of this gif wasn’t quite what i had expected it to be as i’d originally thought it would be rather easy. I still now even with the finished product think there are definite improvements which could still be made. This gif includes a series of three portrait photographs. I cut all into three sections as my idea as you can see below was to create a flip book kind of effect which then stops to pause for a second with the full portrait image of myself. I did this to highlight myself in the gif.
Although this was my favourite initial idea and was the idea which I chose to be my final portrait gif, I prefer the gif which I made in the previous week, this is because I feel the idea of a portrait gif is to show who you are as well as what you look like and I feel that my previous gif was able to show my personality a lot more through it itself. However the gif made above challenged me to learn new things and explore a new skill set. Practically, if I was to use one of my gifs which i have created over the course of the last few weeks I would choose the gif below purely just because it’s able to give people an insight to me.
